Watch Dr. Seuss' How the Grinch Stole Christmas

"He puts the mean in green."

How The Grinch Stole Christmas is a wonderful movie that shows the life of the Grinch who lives in Whoville. He lives the life of a cynic and often angry Grinch as he tries to often pull jokes on those who live in Whoville. Those who live in this fictitious town are very happy and joyful, so they all despise the Grinch for his annoying way of living and how he treats everybody.

A young girl named Cindy finally knew about the Grinch after a weird and scary encounter. She was scared of him but knew that he was always alone. She constantly asked everybody about his life, and then she realized that he wasn't always the rude, sarcastic, and mean monster that he is now. She learned that he was an outcast at school who was often ridiculed for his weird looks, so she came to realize that he wasn't always the way that he is now. She tries to convince everybody at the big Christmas party in Whoville to welcome the Grinch, but he alone decides not to go because of Augustus, the main guy who would always make fun of him at school. He decides to go anyways at the event, but Augustus gives him a shaver to poke fun at what happened to the Grinch back in school when he tried to give a Christmas gift to Martha May while he had a bit of shaving tape on his face. He also purposes to Marth May when the Grinch comes to the party.

Angry at Augustus' joke and proposal, the Grinch decides to ruin the entire event and mess everything up, disappointing the saddened Cindy Lou. The Grinch notices that even though he ruined everything, everyone remains nice to each other at all times. The Grinch decides to try and steal Christmas by going on a sleigh and stealing everybody's wonderful gifts in a Santa suit on Christmas night.

The following day, everybody finally realizes that the Grinch did the stealing, but Cindy Lou's father decides to let everybody know that Christmas is all about family and friends; not about receiving or giving gifts. Touched at how everybody rejoices with singing, the Grinch feels touched that everybody is still together. As he begins to change on the inside, the gifts are about to fall off a cliff, but as Cindy Lou clearly states to him, "Nobody should be left alone for Christmas", he suddenly saves all of the gifts with his strong hands. In the end, everybody becomes closer to each other and they all welcome Grinch into Whoville.
